At Precious Hands SEND Support & Therapies, we provide compassionate, individualised mental health support, Occupational Therapy and Special Educational Needs (SEND) support for children, young people, teenagers and adults.

We understand that every individual and family is unique. Whether you are facing emotional or behavioural challenges, navigating the world of SEND, or looking for support to strengthen the bond between you and your child, we are here to help.

• Play Therapy – supporting children to explore their feelings, develop emotional resilience and work through life's challenges.
• Counselling for Young People and Teens – providing a safe, supportive space to explore emotions, experiences and difficulties.
• Creative Journeys for Adults – a bespoke therapeutic programme tailored to individual needs.
• SEND Advice and Support – helping parents, carers and schools understand and navigate the special educational needs system.
• Irlen Screening – screening for visual stress and exploring how it may affect learning and everyday life.
• Parent-Child Attachment Play (PCAP) – supporting positive relationships, connection and bonding between children and their parents or carers.

A Safe Space to Be Heard, Understood and Supported

We offer a welcoming, private therapeutic space in rural Maisemore, Gloucester, where children and young people can access Play Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy and counselling.

Our qualified therapists are registered with Play Therapy UK (PTUK) and the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) Accredited Register.

Through creative and play-based approaches, we help children and young people express feelings they may find difficult to put into words, make sense of their experiences and develop the confidence and emotional tools to move forward.

We recognise that when a child is struggling, the impact can be felt across the whole family. That's why we work collaboratively with parents and carers, offering guidance, understanding and support throughout the therapeutic journey.

SEND Advice, Guidance and Training

Navigating the world of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities can feel overwhelming. Understanding EHCPs, My Plans, referrals and the Gloucestershire Graduated Pathway can be particularly challenging for parents and carers who simply want to ensure their child receives the right support.

We offer practical, approachable SEND advice and guidance to help families understand their options, access appropriate support and feel more confident advocating for their children.

We also recognise the challenges faced by schools in meeting an increasingly diverse range of needs, often with limited time, resources and specialist expertise.

Our SEND advice and training is designed to offer realistic, supportive and workable strategies that help schools better understand and support the children and young people in their care.
